COVID-19 Micro Business Grant

The COVID19 Micro Business Grant is available from Monday 26 July 2021 on the Service NSW website.

Applications are expected to open on 26 July 2021 and close at 11:59pm on 18 October 2021.

A business cannot receive the MICRO grant if they have applied for either

• the 2021 COVID-19 Business Grant or
• the JobSaver payment

HOW MUCH

The Micro Grant is a $1,500 fortnightly payment for businesses with a turnover between $30,000 and $75,000. Business may be

• Small business
• Sole trader
• Not for Profit organisation

Applications are only made ONCE and payments are automatically made by ServiceNSW.

Payments will be made in arrears with the first payment backdated to 26 June 2021.

Eligibility:

• Active business (with ABN) at 1 June 2021
• Aggregated turnover between AU$30,000 and AU$75,000
• A revenue decline of 30% or more (as measured over min 2- week period between 26 June 2021 and whenever lockdown ends)
• Businesses that provide the primary income source for a person associated with the business.
• If you employ individuals, the headcount at 13 July 2021 must be maintained
• The business income must be the primary source of income (eg if you are a sole trader)
